23B0320020XP Ø32mm 20mm stroke Compact Stopper Pneumatic Cilinder

Compact stopper cylinders designed for stopping moving parts or chucks. This is the 32mm diameter cylinder model. The pin that is extending from the piston rod is 20mm diameter, and it makes a 20mm stroke. It's spring loaded, so when there is no pressure on the cylinder, its in the out position, due to the spring. For CNC machines this is useful for making a stop that a sheet of material can be pushed against, to get correct alignment. Then the vacuum table is activated, to hold material down. And the pins are retracted, so that the table is free, and you can mill fully around the product. Unlike a normal pneumatic cylinder the piston rod on these stoppers are designed for the side(radial) loading that occurs, on a normal cylinder that type of loading is not allowed. The stoppers have a special bearing in the front of the housing that takes this radial load.
