ACS3-CNENC200 Encoder Connector for ASD-A3/B3 & CN3 for A2/B2

On the Delta A2 and B2 AC servo drivers. The CN3 connector is used for RS-485 and RS-232 communications. This is useful when you want to directly connect an HMI or a PLC, or another RS-485 or RS-232 device. What we sell here is the connector that can be used to make your own communications cables. The connector is an IEEE1394 connector, also known as Firewire. Please read the manual for the specific Delta AC servo drivers that you want to make a cable for. We have posted in the images some extract of the manual for reference use only.

• WARNING: Two kinds of communication wire of IEEE1394 are commercially available. One of the internal
  ground terminals (Pin 1) will short circuit with the shielding and will damage the drive. Do not
  connect GND to the shielding!
