This cable is used to communicate between the ASD-B3(A) Servo Drive and the PC. It allows parameters to be set and reset. Also it can be used to tune the servomotor and drive. The free ASDA-software has advanced scope/tuning functions which allow you to correctly setup and tune your servo system. The same cable is also used for the Delta A3 servo system, and on some of the DeltaPLCs like the ES3/SE/SX2/AS Series. The cable comes with a separation amplifier. This is what makes it a more stable USB connection than when you would use a simple/cheap USB cable. Its also what makes this a more expensive part.
