Coding socket for HC Modular. With this type of coding socket, and its contra mating plug, it's possible to make up to 16 different codings. This can be useful when you use the same style connectors on a controller, and you want to protect them from being plugged into the wrong ports. With these coding pegs & buses, that problem is solved. Since the connectors will then only fit in the port that is coded correctly.
