Connect Wiring and Tune Delta ASDA-B2 to SPEED-mode
With this setup, your ASDA-B2 system can become a precision milling motor speed controller. Even if you know what you're doing, it's not that easy to connect a Delta ASDA-B2 and associated servo motor and set it up in SPEED mode. The problem is, if you make a mistake with the connections, you can directly damage the inputs and/or motor. A servo motor is much more complex than a normal milling motor. To avoid problems, we prefer to connect and test ourselves. This product can only be purchased in combination with a Delta servomotor + Delta B2 servodrive + cable set. What we do next is put the correct parameters in the drive, connect motor and drive, then test run and check that everything is working properly. This sounds simple, but it is something that you can spend a day trying to figure out yourself, and you might have problems/damage as a result.
Component features:
- Speed mode for the Delta ASDA-B2 drive
- Because of encoder feedback, the speed is much more constant than with a VFD
- Interesting for low speed milling motors (0-3000RPM), or special applications
- Control the motor/drive with an analog 0-10V signal
- Optionally, with an extra relay it is possible to make 0-10V and 0 to -10V, then you can control the motor in both CW and CCW direction.
- PLEASE NOTE: please contact us when ordering, we can work in potentiometer mode, or via the 0-10V print from EdingCNC. Customization is possible, additional costs might apply.
