This Planetary Gearbox was produced especially for DamenCNC. The output flange has the standard dimensions of a 60x60 Servo Motor, the 14.00mm shaft is also the same. This makes this gearbox compatible with any mechanical part with a 60x60 Flange. The input shaft has a bore of 14.00mm making it compatible with most NEMA34 Stepper Motors or 60x60 Servo Motors. The gearbox has a NEMA34 flange, but this flange can be removed. When the flange is removed, the bolt pattern you see is suitable for mounting a 60x60 ServoMotor (For example the Delta 400W). We created the design this way because we have many of these engines in stock. Our best-selling stepper motors are NEMA34 and the servo motors are the 400W 60x60 Servo from Delta.
Because this is a two-stage gearbox with a large reduction ratio, you quickly reach the maximum output torque of 42Nm. For the input torque we recommend a maximum of 0.84Nm (nominal). Most NEMA 34 stepper motors will not be suitable because they have a higher torque. Its more suitable for the 200W (0.64Nm) and 400W (1.27Nm) 60x60 Delta (or othe brands) servo motors. When using a 400W servo, you need to set a torque limit in the driver, to keep the torque below 0.84Nm.
