Electric Oscillation Tool EOT-4 - Working Stroke 3mm

The EOT-4 is a processing unit for CNC-machines to cut various materials such as cardboard, sealing materials, foils, corrugated cardboard, carbon fiber prepreg material, leather, rigid foam and many others. It is a precise quality product made in Germany developed and produced by ECOCAM. A powerful oscillation motor moves the blade quickly up and down while an actuator rotates the blade in each direction of cutting.Thus, even strong and thick materials can be cut precisely and quickly. Since these modules have an open interface, they can easily be combined with systems from different machine manufacturers.

As a further development of our proven modules, the EOT-4 is equipped with a closed loop stepper motor and offers corresponding advantages:

• Avoidance of step losses through feedback of the stepper motor position and dynamic readjustment
• Smoother running and lower resonance than stepper motors without encoder; short settling and decay times
• Higher energy efficiency, smoothness and load tolerance than stepper motors without encoder
• Typically higher torque at low speeds compared to servo motors

Note: it is also possible to use the EOT-4 in an open-loop setup, by simply not connecting the encoder. The EOT-4 then functions like its predecessor EOT-3, without the advantages of feedback from the encoder.
