Outer Sleeve Connector For Grounding Shielded And Coaxial Cables, Inner Diameter Of 10.8mm, grey/silver. Shield-Kon is a system invented by Thomas & Betts, who have since been taken over by ABB. This system allows cable shield to be connected using an inner and an outer ring. Which are crimp together with the shield in between. The inner ring is hard, the outer ring is soft. A special crimp tool is required to make the proper connection. Many different combinations can be made. Depending on what inner and outer ring are used.
