These lock nuts are often used with ball screws. The final machining for the 16mm ISEL spindles requires the m10x0.75 nut, for the ISEL 25mm you need the m17x1 nut. The fine thread of 1mm makes it easier to adjust the preload on the ball bearings. This is also the reason why this type of nut is used and not the one with normal thread. The type we offer here is m10x0.75 and often used on 16mm ISEL ball screw spindles, for securing the angular contact bearings.
