We supply HIWIN guideways with plastic green covers as standard. However, it is also possible to work with these brass covers. The advantage of brass compared to a plastic cover is that it can withstand metal chips better. We offer the format C8-M here. These are suitable for HIWIN HGR, CGR, EGR, RGR 30-35 guideways. To properly mount these caps a special tool/press is required. We offer them from HIWIN, but they are a bit costly. It's not all that difficult to DIY one yourself.
