Nord-Lock SP Washers
Nord-Lock SP washers have the same wedge locking as the original washers, but with an extra large outer diameter. SP washers are specially designed for use with flange bolts and nuts (ISO 4161, 4162) on slotted holes and oversized holes — or on sensitive surfaces and soft materials.

Testing & Certification
Nord-Lock wedge-locking technology has been thoroughly tested and approved by both independent institutes and certification authorities. The Junker test is the most rigorous method for testing bolted connections.

During the test, the connection is subjected to transverse movements under the bolt head and nut, while the clamping force is continuously measured. Nord-Lock rings consistently outperform the competition in these demanding conditions.
