Electrospindle motors are designed for both radial and axial loads and can run up to 24.000rpm. They generate high power, with limited overall dimensions. These characteristics make them ideal for use on machines for working wood, plastics and aluminium.

Regular Electrospindles have fan blades at the end of the main shaft that provides cooling, but also a lot of noise at high speeds. Electrospindles with electric fan cooling have the advantages that they are less noisy at high speeds and provide sufficient cooling at low speeds. These motors also have a PTC to detect overheating in case the fan is defective.
