DIN 172A flanged drill bushes. The drill bushes are robust and available in a wide range of variations so that you can always choose the drill bush that best suits your application. The DIN 172A drill bushes can be used for example in drilling jigs as a drill bit guide, or as a hole reinforcement in soft materials so that the required hole form is maintained. DIN 172A drill bushes are made from a special low carbon steel and are available in Forms A and B. What we offer here is form A. The difference between form A and B, is the edge chamef on the hole. Form A is most common and has this chmafer only on the top, not on the bottom. Form B has this chamger on top and bottom.They are hardened to 740 ±80 HV 10 and ground to ensure precision and long life. The bushes come in size increments of 0.1 mm up to 15 mm diameter – between 15 and 48 mm they come in size increments of 0.5 mm.
