Round Suction Cup Ø160 H105 (Intermac type)

Vacuum suction cup, often referred to as a vacuum pod. These vacuum pods are very common on CNC machines that are used for working on glass or natural stone. This is the purpose they are designed for, but we have seen them successfully being used on many other materials like wood, carbon and glass fibres. They have a double suction cup. The bottom suction cup is used to suck the vacuum pod to the work table of the CNC or other machine (this surface has to be smooth to get a good seal), and the top vacuum pod is used to suck the material onto the pod. Because the top surface has a vulcanized rubber surface, it creates a lot of friction, holding the part on very tight. Around the top surface there is also a flexible rubber gasket. This top surface and rubber gasket are also sold as a spare part, since it is very common that at some point a mistake is made, and the suction cup gets milled through. That's why we offer the spare parts as well, so the vacuum pod can be fixed, without having to replace the entire pod for a new one. Overall the system is very flexible, because it can be taken apart using a few m6 bolts. For example, the bottom suction cup can be removed, to apply the system to a custom fixture or to mount it on a T-slot table via an adapter.
