When using larger ball screws (32-40mm diameter), we recommend using these shaft couplings. Since the ball screws are virtually play-free, it is important that the shaft coupling is also play-free, and this one is. The nominal torque is 60Nm and the maximum torque is 120Nm. In theory, it is therefore possible to use this coupling on a 60Nm servo motor. In practice (due to the size) we only use this coupling for smaller servomotors with a fram size of 130x130, servo motors 1500W and 2000W from Delta. It is possible to make combinations of different shaft sizes, for example connecting a stepper motor with a 19mm shaft to a 25mm ball screw. With this type of coupling, it is not possible to change the hubs yourself. Special tools are required to adjust the runout. It is therefore very important to buy the right coupling immediately, with the right bore on both sides. The type we offer he is from 22mm to 25mm. 22mm is standard on most 130x130 Delta frame size servomotors. And 25mm is a common end machining on 40mm ballscrews.
