Vacuum Backstop H105 (Intermac)

These vacuum backstops are compatible with the round suction cups we offer. This type is for the H105(intermac) types, height 105mm above the cnc table. The backstop is used as a pin locator, so that the product that has to be machined, can be placed in the correct position on the machine table, and suction cups. Most often a minimum of 3 backstops are used, for proper alignment. When the product is in position, and sucked down on the vacuum cups, the pin on the vacuum backstop, can be retracted downwards. This means you then have full freedom to machine around the product. Normally when clamping material in a vice, this is always a problem, because you can't machine where the jaws are. With this clever vacuum system, that problem is solved. Another nice feature of the vacuumbackstops, is that they have colour coded connections for the air hoses. This makes making the connections very easy. 3 colours are used. Black is the connection/port that is used to suck the vacuum backstop to the table surface. Red is the port used to extend the pin locator. Blue is the port used to retract the pin locator. To control the pinstop, we recommend using a 5/2 valve, this can be either electronic or just a simple mechanical one. For the vacuum, black connection, a normal 5/2 or 3/2 electric valve does not work. It requires a pilot assisted version, or a mechanical one to work properly.
