VARIAC VRK 2.0, 0-250Volts, 2kVA, 8 amps

Single Phase Variac, which has an output voltage range from 0-250 Volts (AC). The VARIAC is built into a housing. So it is a very complete ready to run type of setup. Integrated is a fuse which automatically switches off the VARIAC in case of a short circuit or overload. It also has an integrated panel meter, showing the current set voltage at the output. Below the panel meter for the voltage, there is also a panel meter, where you can monitor the current amount of amps that are going to the load. A device like this can be very useful in test benches where you are testing electronics. It can also be used when testing devices for the USA market where you need 110VAC. They have a very wide range of use. We have also seen them being used to regulate the voltage in EPS wire cutting machines. A Variac is not the ideal solution for that application, but it does work.
