Energy element mounted on the tool side of the tool changer. This type has (3+PE)/(4) pins and is commonly used to supply power to equipment mounted on the tool side. The connector interface used is a standard M23 ((3+PE)/(4)), which is suitable for straight and angular types. The element itself can also be mounted straight or at right angles. See the third image to change the orientation. There an instruction is given on how to turn the plug. This configuration of (3+PE)/(4), has a total of 8 pins. Of these, the 3+PE are usually used for the UVW power supply and PE ground for electric motors or milling motors. The 4 other pins are usually data/sensor pins, to read things like a PTC or other temperature monitoring in motors. Of course it can also be used for completely different purposes. But the connector type is common on TeknoMotor's ATC71 milling motors.
