WER3000LLN-00-00-A Protection Element for the fixed part (Tool side)

Protective element mounted on the tool side of the tool changer. This type is a protective cover mounted on the tool side. This covers the unused elements on the robot side. This prevents electrical connections from becoming dirty, or dirt from entering the pneumatic elements. This cover can be used universally. One side is completely flat, and this side is used to shield the pneumatics. The other side is equipped with a small chamber, with an O-ring around it. This is for shielding the unused energy elements. In practice, unused energy or pneumatic elements are created, because each tool usually has its own specific connections. As soon as you are working with tool 2, the contact of tool 1 would not be in use. That does not have to be a problem in a clean environment. However, the elements are then completely open, and contamination can occur in a dirty or dusty environment. By placing cover caps on all tools, for the connections on the robot side that are not in use, you prevent contamination. From a safety point of view, it is also better. Because the plugs are also not electrically safe to touch.
