W6001001106 STP-U 1/8 006 UNIDIRECTIONAL PIPE STOP VALVE

Stop valves are mounted on the cylinder inlets allow a flow of air only in the presence of a pneumatic pilot. Unidirectional and bidirectional versions are available. The item is mainly used as a safety valve. When pressure drops in the pneumatic pilot, all cylinder movement is halted.

What we offer here is the unidirectional stop valve. This halts the flow only in one direction. This can be useful for pistons working against gravity. For safety reasons often you do not want the load to fall. But also for safety reasons most often, you do not want the cylinder, to be stuck in both direction, as someone could be trapped below load. With a uni-directional version this problem is solved. Since the load cant fall, but it can be lifted. Please keep in mind that each application requires its own risk assessment.
